Our proven T-SPOT technology has also been used to develop T cell tests for COVID-19, both for research use - T-SPOT Discovery SARS-COV-2 kit (RUO) and for IVD use - the T-SPOT.COVID test (CE marked). They are both used to detect a T cell response to SARS-CoV-2. The T-SPOT.COVID test has been shown to detect evidence of a T cell-mediated immune response to SARS-CoV-2 infection in PCR positive patients with a negative serology test result.
