• A cover letter which describes your motivation to visit the ESM meeting

• A short CV

• Your submitted abstract

The deadline for travel grant submissions is the same as the deadline for abstract submission.

​

Travel grants are available for student members of the society only.

​

You need to be registered to the meeting and have your abstract submitted in the system as well as the email send to apply for the travel grant.

​

The grant cannot be transferred to another person or year.

 

Regarding selection criteria

 

The steering committee will select 3 to 5 abstracts.

Prioritisation criteria (with some flexibility):

• (Ph.D.) students / early-career applicants

• Original abstracts or ideas

• Applicants from Europe rather than overseas

• Clear and well-founded motivation for applying

• Did not receive a travel grant last year
