Yohhei Hamada

Yohhei Hamada, MD. MPH is a clinical research fellow at the Institute for Global Health, University College London with expertise in infectious disease and epidemiology. He has experience in policy development and technical assistance related to LTBI at the global and national level. He previously worked for the Global TB Program of WHO and co-led development of 2018 consolidated guidelines on the programmatic management of LTBI. He recently led a landscape analysis of tests for TB infection with FIND and was a lead writer of the WHO framework of the evaluation of tests for TB infection. He also conducted a review of mRNA signature based TB diagnostics for FIND.
