University of Zaragoza
Joaquín Sanz is an associate professor at the University of Zaragoza, where he leads the group in Computational Genomics & Systems Biomedicine at the BIFI Institute.
Joaquín’s group focuses on developing computational models to describe aspects of the interaction between Mycobacterium tuberculosis and its host operating at different spatio-temporal scales. This spans from characterizing inter-individual variation in host immune responses at single-cell resolution, to developing mathematical transmission models to produce epidemiological forecasts at supra-national scales.
