After receiving his Ph.D. degree in infection immunology from the Johannes Gutenberg University in Mainz, Dr. Stefan Schille joined BioNTech in 2019, where he works as a senior scientist.
His research at BioNTech focuses on the pre-clinical development of mRNA-based vaccines against infectious diseases, which includes optimizing antigens for improved antigen- presentation and advancing mRNA delivery systems.
