Institut Pasteur de Lille
Philip Supply is a CNRS research director at the Institut Pasteur de Lille. He dedicates his research to the genomics and evolution of M. tuberculosis. His work provided insights into the origin and emergence of the pathogen. He developed the 24-locus MIRU-VNTR genotyping approach adopted as a standard for epidemiological surveillance in the pre-genomic era, and designed and developed with GenoScreen the Deeplex®-MycTB assay for culture-free diagnosis of drug resistant tuberculosis based on targeted NGS.
