Annelies Van Rie

Prof Van Rie has over 25-years experience in clinical, molecular, and epidemiological research with a focus on drug resistant tuberculosis. She leads the multidisciplinary Tuberculosis Omics ResearCH group which aims to advance the translation of whole genome sequencing (WGS) from research to policy and practice. The focus of her current research is the development and validation of digital health tools that support the implementation of WGS for TB control in diverse settings.
