Philip Fowler

University of Oxford

Philip Fowler is an Associate Professor at the University of Oxford. He read Physics at Cambridge, worked in a US bank, studied for a PhD in Chemistry at UCL. After 10 years simulating membrane proteins he changed direction and started as a Group Leader in the John Radcliffe hospital working on translating genetics into tuberculosis. He played a central role in the CRyPTIC project and has a research group working on AMR predictive methods.
